Today’s the day! Kluane glaciers, mountains, and ice fields!
Waiting for takeoff time, sitting on the front stoop :)
When he said the speaker needs to be super close to the mouth in order to be heard when speaking, Stuart was not joking. Was not heard at this distance.
Trippy shot, hey?
One of my fave shots
I used to think I wanted my pilot’s license. This flight made me not want my pilot’s license!
Fortunately Stuart is an excellent pilot. When he started to announce the wind changes ahead of time, it made me feel a little better. It’s incredible how vulnerable one can feel at 10K,” eye level with incredible mountain peaks and having to fly in partnership with the winds.
If I remember correctly, we were going 150mph with 30-50kts winds.
I am glad Stuart didn’t opt for the fun of dead drops.
That bad boy can be 3 stories tall
Stuart, the wonderful pilot. :)
We did the red route
